Curtis, owner and operator of Gemini Tattoo and Piercings, has been mastering the trade for over 30 years. Originally from Florida, Curtis decided to bring his skill to WNC. He works in all tattoo forms and mediums, but specializes in traditional tattoo work, specifically black and grey scales. Curtis started piercing in 1990, he brings his years of experience from the Jurassic era.

Stormie, Head artist, recently moved from Florida to join the Gemini team. A mother of one, she began her tattooing journey in 2017. She is an exceptional artist and has dedicated herself to her craft. Her preferred styles are black and grey and illustrative color work, but has experience and versatility with most styles. Stormie learned to pierce in South Florida, where there are a lot of stipulations and licensing to get to that point. Educated with a blood borne pathogens course she offers her more modern knowledge for the team.

KJ has been local for over a decade. Her journey with Gemini started as a tattoo apprentice summer 2023, that winter she changed over to piercing and has been loving it since. She proves everyday that she is a hard worker and committed to her craft. 

Legion is a newly minted apprentice artist at Gemini with a lengthy passion for tattoo culture and art of all kinds. He has been drawing since he can remember, and sold his first tattoo design at age 15. 

His favorite styles are gothic, experimental fine-line work, black and grey, illustrative realism, script, y2k trends and large, detailed scenes. He started his apprenticeship in August 2023 taught by Stormie, and in July of 2024 earned his permit to tattoo. 

Ava Clark is a graduate from WCU with a degree in Fine Arts. She has been tattooing in a shop setting since early summer of 2023 and has been a part of Gemini Tattoo as an apprentice ever since. Her favorite styles are American & Japanese traditional, new school, black work, black and grey, and line work, while also specializing in minimalistic/fine line work. She has also been developing the unique skill of “fingernail tattooing” and has flash available for viewing. She got her license in march 2024 and has been taking clients since then.

Carl native to Cherokee started his apprenticeship journey summer 2024, Hes shown his dedication everyday and helps around the shop and practices on fake skins. He's always been drawn to art, he's especially partial to graffiti style art. Look forward to seeing great things from him in the future.
